#Boss load order fallout 4 mod
I really only see a mod like this helping with systems running this game on the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM with dated hardware. At the most, it might decrease loading times by a quarter of a second or something. The game doesn't load the resource into the world anyway, therefore no system resources are used to compile those resources that are removed. In most cases, removing unused resources (what this mod did) does not really increase performance any. It affected all kinds of cells and, upon removing it, corrupted save games like no other.īesides that, the performance gain is very questionable and doesn't really have any concrete evidence in support of this mod. This was probably the main reason it was taken down. I checked over at the nexus and there are no "known" bugs or conflicts with the mods I have installed. I'm not 100% great with load orders or seeing if mod conflict.

Mind you this can be anywhere north such as gun runners, south Vegas ruins, el ray motel, camp mccarren.you get the point. After it loads if I try to enter an interior area that's when it crashes. For example I'm up by camp mccarren and save, exit game, start game up load save. I started throwing a few mods in, and as we all know there like potato chips.you can't have just one! Anyway I tested these mods on by one as I installed them and didn't have any problems Now any time I try to go up toward Vegas I CTD after a save and load. I have been playing since release, with very few problems.

I just wanted some insight on my load order of mods I have installed. This is my first post, but have been a long time reader. But there are not neccessary as many people get by just fine without them.Hello everyone. If you want to use those programs by all means. Every mod installed was done manually, no nmm, no loot. Loot is not an absolute must have, your brain and the ability to use it however is.įor example my skyrim data folder is just shy of 90Gb. The only reason you haven't had problems is you have just been lucky. There is not a single mod maker that does not recommend using loot.Įvery single mod reviewer will recommend using loot to sort their mods.īefore loot everyone used BOSS there has always been a Mod sorter of some kind used for these games.Īnd no the manager does not sort your mods or put them in any particular order. Load order is an absolute necessity to get mods to work properly. Still doesnt change the fact that incorrect order will break your game. I have managed mods manually since morrowind so i am my own load order manager. I wasnt arguing that loot was neccessary, its just easier for some. Depending on your mods, and nmm doesnt always catch mistakes. I have been modding beth games a very long time, trust me when i tell you load order matters. Just because one person downloading mods didnt run into load order conflict doesnt mean it doesnt exist. Początkowo opublikowane przez bLaCkShAd0w: Never had a problem using NMM either and yes I have dealt with installing mods manually. If you are manually installing mods I guess I could see using it. 3/new vegas had a couple mods that did require moving them up in the mod order but it told you that and it was not exactly hard to click on an arrow in nmm. In fallout 3 and new vegas had between 100 and 150 mods never had a problem that required a third party program. Not really I have never used a load order program on any fallout game and never once run into a mod problem. I have watched doing fresh installs of all mods and seems to work just fine. When installing with NMM it just seems to put the order properly from each install. Now I know certain mods request being at the top etc but never had any issue just randomly chaning load order just to see if it matters and never once had any conflict or problematic mods.
